Momentum to Become Part of Living Innovations
Dennis Strout, Momentum founder, announced October 3 that the organization will become part of Living Innovations on November 1. He said the decision for Momentum to become part of Living Innovations was driven by his desire to ensure the services provided continue long into the future.
“The Momentum workforce has helped people achieve incredible things,” he said. “Living Innovations will bring new levels of support and resources, a welcome addition to provide long-term stability for the services.”
The services will remain under the Momentum name and all employees and Shared Living Home Providers will continue in the roles they have serving the same individuals they currently do. Strout will remain after the acquisition as the Executive Director for Momentum. The Momentum name and brand identity will continue through the first phase of transition.
“We are excited to have Momentum joining Living Innovations,” said Andy Taranko, State Director of Operations for Living Innovations. “Momentum is a trusted organization that has innovative programs like Nature Trek and a strong reputation for quality. It is a natural fit for the high quality services Living Innovations provides across much of Maine.”
Together the two organizations will serve around 1,300 people through shared living, community supports and employment services.
