May 2024 Employee Spotlight - Lexie McInnis
Lexie McInnis has worked for Momentum for 9 years now and we don’t know what we would do without her! Lexie brings a positive attitude, a constant smile and a laugh no matter what the situation is! Lexie is a new addition to our Shared Living Program but previously you’d find her working as a Program Administrator within Community Support program in Bangor. But even now, you can find her on the Basketball Court, the Pools or even Disney helping support our Participants to achieve their goals and dreams. Thank you Lexie for being such a rock star!

What do you like most about what we do here?
“I love the diverse and wide range of opportunities we are able to provide our participants to help support them in achieving their goals and dreams.”
What is your Favorite Momentum moment?
“That's a tough toss-up between summertime kayaking adventures, coaching our Special Olympics Basketball team (our first gold medal year was unforgettable!), and the trip to Disney in 2022!”
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
“To clone myself, most days I need more than one of me to go around!”
What is one thing people don't know about you , that they would be surprised to find out?
”I feel like I'm an open book, but some people might not know that I studied Sport Management, with a minor in coaching at Husson and was the recipient of the John Winkin Excellence in Sport Management Award. I've coached basketball for 12 years at various levels.”
What show(s) are you currently Binge watching, or books you are reading?
“I usually go for Law and Order SVU or Hallmark if it's Christmas time.”
What is one thing on your bucket list ?
“To travel more, including a trip Australia.”
