October 2023 Employee Spotlight- Hannah Smith
Hannah Smith is the Lead Office Manager/QA & Therap App Support out of our Bangor office and this months Spotlight Employee! Whether Hannah is organizing exciting events for staff and client through the SMILE team, fixing all of our IT bugs, lending a hand in the field, or being a great support to peers and clients alike, you can always count on her to show up with a can do attitude and a smile. “Hannah is the "glue" that holds us together. Tech issues, she'll solve it. Can't find a document in share point, she'll find it. She cares deeply about the participants we support, even going above and beyond to take a Sign Language class to better communicate and serve one of our SL clients (who she also was the driving force on getting her enrolled in CS as well). It is a pleasure working with Hannah! (we also love her Disney trip planning skills and can't WAIT until the next adventure) “

How Long have you been with Momentum ?
"12 years this year!"
What do you like most about what we do here?
”I really like that no idea is too big , we always find a way to make it work, even if it takes a while.”
What is your Favorite Momentum moment?
”Oh Geeze. There's a lot...but I'd say going to Disney with the Bangor crew. I really love walking into Magic Kingdom and looking at the faces of the people who traveled with us and seeing the amazement and wonder when they first see the Giant Castle.”
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
"Flying!"
What is one thing people don't know about you , that they would be surprised to find out?
“I LOVE cemeteries. I spend many hours in cemeteries doing research for people from all over the world who once had family members living in New England.”
What show(s) are you currently Binge watching, or books you are reading?
“I'm binge watching Grays Anatomy. As for Books- I'm usually reading about Tudor History. Right now, I'm reading a book about Queen Elizabeth the First.”
What is one thing on your bucket list ?
"I want to go to Africa and see a herd of Elephants in person."
